Bella Quest — Privacy Policy

Creamia LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates the Bella Quest app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

- Your name
- Your email address
- A 6-digit PIN (stored as a securely hashed password, not in plain text)

As you use the app, we automatically collect:

- Your daily routine activity (which steps you complete, when)
- XP earned and your level
- Avatar choice and other in-app preferences
- Streak history and salon claim history
- Purchase XP tied to your email (when you buy from creamiallc.com)

We do not collect government IDs, social security numbers, payment card details, or precise location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

- Create and maintain your account
- Track your XP, streaks, and progress
- Display you on the leaderboard (visible to other Bella Quest users, showing your name, level, and XP)
- Credit purchase XP from qualifying orders
- Send essential account communications (password resets, important updates)
- Improve and operate the app

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing With Third Parties

We share data with:

- Supabase — stores your account, routine data, and XP in a secure database
- Squarespace — processes purchases at our shop (subject to Squarespace's privacy policy)
- n8n / order automation services — to credit XP when you purchase from our shop
- Email service providers — to send verification and password reset emails

We may disclose information if required by law (subpoena, court order) or to protect our rights, property, or users' safety.

4. Leaderboard Visibility

Your name, level, XP totals, and avatar are visible to other Bella Quest users on the leaderboard. If you don't want to appear, contact hendercap@gmail.com to be removed.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II compliant cloud service. PINs are hashed using industry-standard methods. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account data as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

7. Children's Privacy

Bella Quest is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us at hendercap@gmail.com and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format

9. Cookies and Local Storage

The app uses browser local storage to keep you logged in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

10. International Users

The app is operated from the United States. By using the app, you consent to your information being processed in the U.S.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
